Clear terms for the app and Pro.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Cameron Mostoufi (“Sunglass Genie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, purchasing, or using Sunglass Genie, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. App license

Sunglass Genie is licensed through Apple’s App Store, not sold to you. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.

These terms supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The Standard EULA applies where required and controls if these terms conflict with it.

3. What the app provides

Sunglass Genie uses one user-approved photo to provide relative on-device style guidance, rank original Genie Studio templates, and create an adjustable, approximate 2D preview. The free experience includes a limited template selection.

The app does not identify you, sell eyewear, show retailer inventory, or provide medical, optical, safety, or professional fitting advice. Results are subjective style suggestions, not promises about comfort, suitability, or how manufactured eyewear will look or perform.

4. Sunglass Genie Pro subscriptions

While an eligible subscription is active, Pro unlocks the complete style ranking, all current Genie Studio templates, comparisons for up to four templates, all favorites, and unrestricted private previews and exports.

As of the effective date above, Pro is offered through the United States App Store only at $2.99 per month or $19.99 per year. Apple shows the exact localized price, billing period, and availability before purchase; its purchase sheet is the final source of truth when you subscribe.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• Each subscription automatically renews for the same duration unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
• Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel in App Store subscription settings. Deleting the app or deleting local app data does not cancel a subscription.
• You can use Restore Purchases in the app to ask Apple to restore an eligible verified entitlement.

The App Store purchase sheet controls the price, currency, billing period, availability, and any offer for which you are eligible. Apple handles billing, refunds, and payment disputes under its applicable terms. Cancellation normally stops future renewal; access continues through the paid period as determined by Apple.

5. Availability

The current app release and both subscription plans are configured for the United States App Store only. The country or region associated with your Apple Account determines which App Store storefront you can use. Availability shown by Apple before purchase controls. Device compatibility, App Store status, and applicable law may also affect availability.

Features and template availability may change, but eligible subscribers will receive access required for the subscription period under applicable App Store terms.

6. Ownership

The app, branding, interface, text, software, and Genie Studio templates are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Your photos and your exported Saved Looks remain yours. You give the app permission to process an approved photo only as needed to provide the features you request.

7. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the app, interfere with its operation or security, bypass access controls, copy or redistribute protected app content except as allowed by law, use the app to violate another person’s rights, or submit a photo you are not entitled to use. Apple’s Usage Rules and the Standard EULA also apply.

8. No retailer sales

Sunglass Genie does not list retailer products, show inventory or retailer pricing, provide affiliate links, sell eyewear, or process eyewear checkout, delivery, returns, or warranties. A Pro subscription buys access to app features; it does not buy a physical pair of glasses. Genie Studio templates are original app artwork and are not manufactured products or items for sale.

9. Important limits

Camera angle, expression, hair, lighting, photo quality, and the construction of eyewear can affect style guidance and preview placement. The approximate 2D preview does not turn a photo into real-world dimensions. Confirm comfort, optical needs, suitability, and safety with the eyewear maker or a qualified professional.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available.” Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, remedies, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The warranty and liability provisions in Apple’s Standard EULA also apply.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using and delete the app at any time, but deletion does not cancel a subscription. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the app or others, comply with law, or address a material violation of these terms, subject to rights that cannot legally be limited. Subscription billing remains governed by Apple’s records and applicable terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, except where the law of your place of residence or another mandatory rule applies.

12. Changes

We may update these terms when the app, subscription, or law changes. We will update the effective date and provide any additional notice required by law. Changes do not reduce rights already earned for a paid subscription period where prohibited.
